The remains of former Deputy Senate President, Ibrahim Mantu, who died in the early hours of Tuesday, August 17, have been laid to rest in Abuja.
The prayers for the repose of the departed held at the Sheikh Khalid mosque in Abuja was attended by family members, friends and political associates of the deceased.
Dignitaries at the ceremony included former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole and former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso,
The remains of the politician were later interred at the Gudu Cemetery in Abuja.
