Nemesis has caught up with three suspected kidnappers as they were rounded up by the police in the Ogombo/Lekki Ajah area of Lagos State.
The suspects were arrested by the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team at the Ogombo police division in Lagos state.
The suspected kidnappers were asking for N500 million ransom from the family of their latest victim when they were caught.
Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, confirmed the arrest and disclosed that the victim was safely rescued and handed over to her parents.
Ajisebutu disclosed that the suspects had been taken to the State CID Panti for further investigation on the order of the CP, Hakeem Odumosu.
The PPRO said plans were ongoing to pick up other members of the gang. He said more information would be shared with the public later.
