The trial of Nollywood actor actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, also known as Baba Ijesa, for child molestation is expected to continue today at the Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos.
The case reopened yesterday and was adjourned till today by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo after counsel for Damilola Adekoya, also known as Princess, made the request.
The actor is facing six counts of sexual assault, indecent treatment of a child, and sexual penetration.
His accuser, Princess and her friend, actress, Iyabo Ojo, attended the court session.
Baba Ijesa was detained for more than two months because of the strike embarked upon by judicial workers.
He was later granted bail by the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja on June 24 in the sum of N2 million.
