A young man believed to be involved in mystical scam otherwise called Yahoo Plus has reportedly gone mad in Aba, Abia State.
The incident reportedly happened in front of a branch of Union Bank in Aba.
Eye-witnesses said the man parked his white Mercedes Benz ML 350 in the busy street and started behaving abnormally.
Passersby tried to calm him, but failed. They then called in the police to gain access into his car so they can identify him and contact his family or friends.
It was when the police opened up his vehicle that they found various fetish items like calabash, pots and red candles.
The crowd instantly concluded that the young man’s affliction must be connected to yahoo plus or money ritual.
Fraudsters sometimes enlist the support of herbalists and native doctors to make charms that will enable them to command their victims to make payments or do anything they want them to do.
A few times the charms backfire and the fraudsters go mad or get afflicted with strange diseases.
As of the time of filing this report no information has been obtained about the relative of the man.
