A woman shocked Twitter users when she revealed that she bought a loaf of bread for N5,500 in a supermarket in Nigeria.
She explained that she realized she had been debited 5,500 Naira for the loaf of bread after she got home and looked at her receipt. She added that she would be returning to the supermarket for an explanation.
She later gave an update after visiting the supermarket. She said she was told that’s the price for the loaf of bread.
Nigerians cannot contain the news and have been sending in their views.
Many of them asked if it was the bread of life. Others asserted that they would return the bread, ask for a refund and create a scene if the supermarket refused.
