The head of Ghana Statistical Service (GSS), Professor Samuel Kobina Annim suffered a stroke while delivering a speech at a public function.
The event is believed to be in connection with the ongoing Population and Housing Census exercise which commenced on 13th June, 2021 in the country.
In a video of the event making the rounds on social media, Professor Annim at some point went speechless and later began to stutter.
Some men nearby rushed to him before he could fall and rushed him to the hospital
Professor Annim was named boss of GSS in March 2019.
