Glo’s data, pre-paid roaming services spread to UAE, China

Data grandmasters, Globacom, has added China and the United Arab Emirates to its wide spread pre-paid roaming, data roaming and 4G LTE services across the world.

Globacom explained in a press statement from its head office in Lagos that this is in line with its commitment to deepening its coverage of strategic business locations across the world adding that it has the largest roaming coverage in more than 500 networks across over 90 countries as well as the most competitive roaming tariffs across different countries of the world.

The company already covers the United Kingdom, Finland, Spain, Serbia, Sweden, Norway, Russia, Holland, France, Portugal, Poland, Switzerland, Denmark and other parts of Europe. Others in the American region include Brazil, United States, Bolivia, Cayman and Grenada, Chile, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia and Paraguay.

Other countries currently enjoying the Glo postpaid services are Afghanistan, Bahrain, Lebanon, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macau, Singapore and South Korea. Others are Mongolia, Myanmar, Maldives, Philippines, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan and Vietnam.

The network further said that its subscribers in Japan will also enjoy the services, giving Nigerian contingent to the forthcoming Olympic Games the benefit of seamless browsing, chatting and communication with their friends and loved ones throughout the games.

In the same vein, customers visiting China and UAE will have unfettered access to super-fast 4G LTE and pre-paid roaming, aside its postpaid services which were launched several years ago.

“We assure our customers of excellent calling and browsing services”, Glo said.

The company’s postpaid services are already available in Cape Verde, Cote d’ Ivoire, Benin Republic, Congo DR, Equatorial Guinea, Egypt, Gabon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Gambia, Mali, Niger Republic and several other destinations on the African continent.
