The embattled Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, better known as Baba Ijesa, is out finally.
He breathed the air of freedom some hours ago after perfecting his bail terms.
The moment he left the police custody, he and his entourage headed for the office of one of the SANs that represented him in court yesterday and secured a bail for him in more liberal terms.
At the office of the SAN, the actor went flat on his stomach the moment the SAN and his team walked into the conference room where the actor and his family and friends waited.
He was asked to get up but he refused, as he said the lawyer was the angel that God sent to him to get him out of incarceration.
Veteran actor, Rammy Shitta Bey, spoke on behalf of the group and profusely thanked the lawyer for stepping in to plead his cause yesterday.
He urged him to take the actor as a son and advise him where necessary.
Yomi Fabiyi, who has been a pillar of support for the embattled Baba Ijesa, was part of the entourage. Another veteran actor, Kunle Adetokunbo popularly known as “Dejo Tunfulu” was also present at the event.
