Some Nigerians living in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, have got into a bloody fight that left many dead.
The details of the cause of the fight are not known, but preliminary information suggests that it was a clash of two rival cult groups. Some innocent Nigerians were however believed to have been caught up in it.
A viral video shows the moment a group of men armed with machetes arrived at an apartment complex in Sharjah.
The video from a CCTV system showed the men bringing out their machetes and getting ready to strike.
One pointed out the entrance to the apartment they were seeking and another then kicked the door in, before the men poured in to attack the occupants.
Other videos show the aftermath of the attack, with mutilated bodies lying on the floor of a narrow hallway and entrance to rooms. Injured men can also be seen with blood dripping down their bodies.
A video shows ambulances that raced to the scene to take out the injured and evacuate the dead bodies.
Some Nigerians claimed over 22 people were killed in the attack.
