President Muhammadu Buhari has been presented with a sample of Nigeria’s first locally made cell phones.
The phone called ITF Mobile, was presented to him today, June 9, by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, just before the commencement of the week’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Introducing the phone to the President, Adebayo said it was produced by the Electrical/Electronics Technology Department of the Industrial Training Fund’s (ITF) Model Skills Training Centre, using locally sourced components.
