Samuel “Spiff” Ajibola quits his role in “The Johnson” TV series

Nollywood actor, Samuel Ajibola, popularly known as Spiff has announced that he will no longer be part of the popular TV series, “The Johnsons”.

Spiff announced he is leaving the role on his Twitter handle today.

He has made a name for himself playing the role of Spiff, an adopted son of The Johnsons to the delight of his fans. The character is mentally impaired, loves food and reasons weirdly to comic effect.

He has grabbed a couple of awards from playing the role. However, as much as he has huge fans, there are people who did not find his character amusing. both sides of the divide took to Twitter on Tuesday to express their opinion on his decision to quit.

Ajibola’s tweet: “It’s difficult to let go but it’s time to officially announce on this platform as I quit my role as Spiff in The Johnsons. Thanks to everyone for your undying support and love, I couldn’t have asked for more. I’ve got time on my hands and not much on my side, I’ve to move on.”
