Ernest Ojong, the father of Priscilla Ojong, the 300 Level Mass Communication student of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) who has been declared missing, has come out to say that his daughter is still missing.

However, a day after the news hit the airwaves that the lady was missing, a video was posted showing Priscilla saying that she was not missing.

She said in the video that she was just having problems with her phone and had consequently been unable to reach anyone. Read the report here.

However, speaking in an interview with Cross River Watch TV, Ojong said the last communication with his daughter was in April via a text message and that he had not heard from her since then.

”I am Ernest Ojong by name. Priscilla is my daughter.”

”It’s been up to a month that we just spoke via text message.”

When asked if he was not worried that he had not been able to reach her for close to a month, Mr Ojong said he was seriously worried.

Speaking on the video the daughter purportedly shared two days ago, Ojong said the video was suspicious.

He said the number used to send the video was hidden. He called on the government and the police to help him rescue his daughter. He said Priscilla had still not reached any member of her family since the video was posted.

He said:

”The video, they are hiding number to call so I am not sure. That is why I want government to help me and the police.”

Priscilla’s friends also insisted she was still missing. They expressed said  the video she allegedly shared was not credible as she looked like she was compelled to do it possibly at knife or gunpoint.

They also wanted the police to help investigate the lady’s disappearance.
