The late Umoren

An Uyo-based journalist, Bassey Ibiatisuho, took time out to probe the compound where the remains of Iniobong Umoren was buried by Uduak Frank Akpan in Akwa Ibom today Friday May 7, and made some interesting findings.

According to the journalists who shared the pictures of his findings on Twitter, using his handle, @realbassey101, apart from the shallow grave where Akpan interred the remains of the hapless job seeker, Ini Umoren, there were 11 other curious shallow graves.

He also found lots of female shoes, school bags and school books bearing different names, among other things.

The house within the compound is a two-storey building, still under construction.

Mr Ibiatisuho wrote:

“So today work took me to the compound where Iniubong Umoren was allegedly murdered in Nung Ikono Obio in Uruan. I saw 12 shallow graves, countless number of school books bearing different names, dresses and shoes belonging to girls, bones and filthy bags.

#JusticeForHinyUmoren.”

He documented his findings in the pictures below.
