A naval officer with the Eastern Naval Command, Ghana, Umar Sahid Abubakar, has been detained after inflicting wounds on Bernard Ababio, an Airforce personnel.
Trouble started when Umar Sahid Abubakar chanced in on Bernard Ababio having sex with his wife, named Linda Akosua Buabeng, on their matrimonial bed.
He lost his cool and descended on Ababio heavily, dealing him severe blows and wounding him on the cheek in the process.
To free himself, Ababio was said to have resorted to the use of his teeth as a result of which he also inflicted some injury on Abubakar.
Abubakar then proceeded to Sekondi Police station to lodge a complaint against Bernard Ababio for allegedly biting his index finger in the alteration that ensued after he caught him pants down with his wife, Akosua.
The Police told Empire News that Abubakar had in his possession a military backpack containing one set of military uniform, one white singlet, a pair of jeans trousers, a pair of cotton trousers, one blue-black shirt, one T-shirt, one wristwatch, a pair of canvass, one Pepsodent toothpaste and one AV cable belonging to his rival Airforce personnel Bernard Ababio.
Police further disclosed that as Abubakar was writing his statement, the airforce officer, Ababio, also arrived at the same police station to lodge a case of assault against Abubakar.
Seeing his injury, the police issued the victim a police medical form to obtain treatment while Umar Abubakar was detained.
