Armed robbers terrorising Lekki-Ajah Expressway arrested


The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a gang of armed robbers terrorising the Lekki-Ajah axis of Lagos.
There has be a spike in the activities of men of the underworld in the entire Lekki-Ajah Expressway in recent times.
The robbers are even getting bold enough to lay siege to living apartments for hours.
However, nemesis caught up with a gang of four armed robbers in the area on Friday as they were caught by the police.
The four men, armed with a double-barrelled pistol were caught at Badore part of the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
They include Lateef Lukmon, Kayode Damilola, Adebisi Samuel and Olaleye Elijah.
Apart from armed robbery, the gang also indulged in ‘one-chance’ operations, with a Honda CRV, which has been impounded by the police.
The police said the men would be prosecuted soon.
