The Department of State Services (DSS) has released Salihu Tanko-Yakasai, a former special adviser to the governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Recall that Yakasai was arrested recently after he criticised President Muhammadu Buhari and asked him to resign if he could not resolve the persistent insecurity situation facing the country.
In a tweet on Monday, the brother of the former aide, Abdullahi Yakasai announced the release of Salihu.
