Some northern governors have paid a visit to Seyi Makinde, their Oyo state colleague, over the Shasha crisis.
Recall that there has been tension in some parts of Ibadan after an ethnic clash that in Shasha that led to the death of at least one person and destruction of properties.
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, announced on its Twitter handle that the governors arrived Oyo on Monday evening.
“This evening, we welcomed Governors @GovUmarGanduje, @Bellomatawalle1, Abubakar Bagudu and @abusbello, who paid us a solidarity visit. We discussed the strategies our administration is putting in place to maintain peaceful co-existence of all residents of Oyo State,” Makinde tweeted.
