COVID-19: Nigeria records 1,131 fresh cases

839 recoveries

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC said the country recorded 1,131 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in 21 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Wednesday.

This has brought the total confirmed cases in the country to 142,578.

According to a report on the agency’s website yesterday, eight persons have also died of COVID-19 related disease in the country as total death figure has hit 1,702.

There were a total of 839 recoveries in Lagos and Imo States.
