The Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Jimmy Odukoya, has officially presented his new wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya (formerly Pastor Mo Jasmine), to his congregation during the Sunday service on November 1, 2026.
Addressing church members at the ministry’s headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos, Odukoya ended days of widespread online speculation following a cryptic photo he posted on October 30 showing two ring-adorned hands with the caption, “TO NEW BEGINNINGS ❤️”.
‘I searched and found’ – Cleric speaks on new marriage
Introducing his bride to the congregation, Odukoya explained that leading the ministry required companionship and home support after spending time alone following his assumption of church leadership.
“Ever since I became a pastor, I have been doing this work of life alone. The Bible said it is not good. I was looking and searching, and I found,” Odukoya stated. “Some of you saw the post; some people said, ‘Is it artwork?’ It is my wife. So allow me to introduce to you for the first time, Pastor Mrs Mo Odukoya, my wife. A new First Lady.”
The new bride, born Mo Jasmine, is the daughter of Reverend Theophilus and Bolaji Daniel.
The marriage blessing was officiated in the United States by Pastor Tunde Bakare, the Serving Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC), before her official presentation to the Lagos assembly.
A new chapter in ministry and family legacy
The marriage marks a fresh chapter in Odukoya’s personal life following the dissolution of his previous marriage to Oluwakemi Sade Banjoko (Kemi Odukoya), whom he married in the United Kingdom in March 2013 and with whom he shares two children.
Odukoya, who assumed leadership of The Fountain of Life Church following the passing of his father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, in August 2023, continues a prominent family ministry legacy established alongside his late mother, televangelist Pastor Bimbo Odukoya.
An alumnus of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Odukoya maintains an active dual career as an international actor, musician, and senior pastor.
About Kemi Banjoko (Odukoya)
Oluwakemi Sade Banjoko is an English graduate, registered nurse, makeup artist, and gospel singer who grew up in London.
The couple met in Lagos in 2011 through her cousin and were married on March 9, 2013, in the United Kingdom.
They share two children. Throughout their marriage, Kemi maintained a relatively low-profile domestic and professional presence compared to Jimmy’s high-profile dual career in Nollywood and public ministry.
