US President Donald Trump has drawn widespread attention across social media after openly complimenting rap superstar Nicki Minaj’s physical appearance during a campaign rally in Port Huron, Michigan.
The pop-culture crossover unfolded on Sunday, October 25, 2026, as Trump continues his nationwide tour in support of Republican candidates ahead of the upcoming U.S. midterm elections.

“I hope Nicki wasn’t insulted, but we love Nicki,” Trump said. “She’s been with us for a long time. She never looked more beautiful, and she gets it.”

Trump’s comments about the “Super Bass” artist came as he referenced previous public comments he made regarding Ohio Republican Senator Jon Husted’s athletic physique during recent campaign stops.
Addressing his habit of commenting on the appearance of public figures, Trump had earlier explained:
“I don’t do this with men very often. I started examining his body, because I didn’t know he was a great athlete. And I looked, and I watched up and down. I looked at his ass, and I looked at the whole – and then I looked at his hands. Look at his hands. He’s got these, like, claws. You are a great athlete. Congratulations.”
