Popular hair vendor “Beauty Goddess”, two others found dead inside locked Delta State apartment
A tragedy has thrown the Jeddo community in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State into profound shock and mourning following the mysterious discovery of the lifeless bodies of three young women inside a locked residential apartment.
Among the deceased is a popular local hair vendor identified as Precious, widely known across social media and her business circle as “Beauty Goddess”.
She operated her hair business out of the Infinity Store Plaza in Edjeba, Warri, Delta State.
The discovery occurred on Saturday morning, October 17, 2026, after friends and associates launched a frantic search following her unexplained three-day absence.
Three-day search ends in tragic discovery
According to reports from local residents, concern grew after friends were unable to establish phone contact with Precious for three consecutive days.
In an effort to trace her whereabouts, acquaintances initially circulated her photographs across various social media platforms, appealing to the public for information.
Driven by mounting anxiety, a group of her close friends visited her residence in Jeddo on Saturday morning to investigate:
Upon arrival, the search party discovered that the main entrance door was locked firmly from the inside.
After receiving no response to repeated calls and knocks, the friends forced the door open to gain access to the premises.
Inside the apartment, they discovered the lifeless bodies of Precious and two other unidentified young women.
Police investigation launched as cause of death remains unclear
The exact circumstances leading to the deaths of the three women remain uncertain, as there were no immediate external signs explaining the cause of the tragic incident.
Community members and online commentators have speculated on various possibilities—ranging from accidental generator fumes inhalation (carbon monoxide poisoning) to chemical exposure or foul play—though law enforcement authorities have yet to confirm any official medical findings.
Security personnel were alerted to the scene shortly after the discovery to evacuate the corpses and secure the premises for forensic analysis.
