Nigerian woman mourns 2 young siblings who drowned in river

A young Nigerian woman, Doris Msuur, is in deep mourning following the tragic death of her two younger siblings, who lost their lives in a drowning incident.
The deceased children, identified as 12-year-old Iveren and 8-year-old Nsughaondo, reportedly drowned on September 5, 2026.
Heartbreaking obituary and funeral arrangements
The grief-stricken sister expressed her sorrow publicly, sharing their obituary in a moving Facebook post on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
“Forever in my heart. I miss you guys so much. May your souls continue to rest in peace, my lovely siblings,” she wrote in tribute to her late brother and sister.
According to family sources, the two children will be laid to rest on Monday, September 21, 2026, in the Turan community of Kwande Local Government Area in Benue State.
The heartbroken sister did not disclose if the two children went to swim in the river or fell into it.
