The father of the late Nollywood actress and social media influencer Nimota Adesanya, popularly known as Nimmy Ferrari, has broken his silence following public accusations from the late star’s mother.

The response comes hours after Nimmy Ferrari’s mother publicly accused him of attempting to exhume his daughter’s remains from her residential property and sell the land.

Refuting the claims, her father stated that he could never cause harm to his child and offered his perspective on the events leading to her medical procedure and property ownership.

Father recounts medical advice and property details

Addressing the allegations surrounding her medical treatment, the father explained that he was only informed about his daughter’s health status after she had already been admitted to the hospital for surgery.

According to his account, Nimmy Ferrari contacted him directly to report that she was at the facility for a fibroid procedure.

Upon learning that the medical bill amounted to ₦3.6 million, he suggested alternative herbal treatment options in Abeokuta, Ogun State, though she noted that scan fees had already been paid to the hospital.

Regarding the disputed property where the late actress was interred, her father clarified that the land was allocated directly from family holdings. He stated that after his daughter expressed a desire to construct her own home, he consulted family elders, who agreed to partition a piece of family land for her building project.

He further claimed that during the construction phase, Nimmy Ferrari explicitly requested that her mother not be informed about the project, alleging that a previous parcel of land purchased through her mother had been sold without her consent.

The tragic passing of Nimmy Ferrari

Nimmy Ferrari passed away in early September 2026, generating widespread grief across the Nigerian film industry and social media platforms. The news was initially shared on Instagram by her colleague, actress Oluwakemisola Apesin (popularly known as Kemity).

Reports indicate that the actress died following complications from a fibroid surgery. The tragedy occurred just days before she was scheduled to hold a housewarming ceremony for her newly completed home in Ogun State.

Following her passing, family and colleagues buried her on the premises of her new property, which has since become the subject of public dispute between her estranged parents.
