A viral video capturing a married woman physically disciplining two of her younger sisters after discovering they were allegedly having sexual relations with her husband while living under her roof has sparked intense debate online.

The distressed wife reportedly uncovered the ongoing illicit affairs after hosting her sisters in her matrimonial home.

In the circulating footage, the enraged woman is seen wielding a cane and beating her sisters while voicing her anger and disgust at their alleged betrayal.

One of the sisters is openly wailing while the other one maintains a stoic appearance. She occasionally raises her hands to ward off the cane her sister is using on her.

Neighbours intervene

Neighbours of the aggrieved woman can be seen restraining her at some point. One of them is heard commenting that the baby the angry wife is backing can fall down.

The neighbour offers to carry the baby for the aggrieved wife, while pacifying her to leave the girls alone.

Social media reactions are divided

The viral video has ignited a flurry of mixed reactions across X (formerly Twitter), with users offering divergent views ranging from legal criticism to controversial relationship advice.

A central point of contention among commentators was the husband’s primary role in the scandal.

User Prince Alfred (@alfred_prince61) argued that the husband likely manipulated the situation, stating, “They did wrong no doubt but I believe it’s the husband that seduced the both of them, make she go flog am.”

Popular commentary account Alabo Wakajugbe (@MrWakajugbe) echoed the sentiment, agreeing that the husband deserved equal, if not greater, blame for the domestic collapse.

Other users took a more provocative stance, suggesting unconventional resolutions to the household crisis.

User Abidemi Babaolowo Rolihlahla (@enyola) proposed that the family formalise the arrangement through polygamy, writing, “Looks like he’s already taking care of the three of them and he’s capable, they should just arrange a wedding so that they can all be wives to the man instead of all these wahalases.”

Meanwhile, lighthearted and opportunistic comments also surfaced, with user Umeh Ikenna (@UmehIkenna9) jokingly remarking, “What a lucky man. How I wish. This kind opportunity no dey ever reach my side,” prompting quick pushback from other users who highlighted the severe emotional damage and potential legal consequences involved.
