A Nigerian man, Daniel Undiandeye, has publicly announced the end of his 11-year marriage, alleging that his wife attacked him with dangerous weapons, including axes and knives, and attempted to severe his male organ.
Undiandeye shared the announcement via a detailed statement on Facebook on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, revealing that the couple has officially parted ways.
Allegations of physical attacks and spiritual interference
According to Undiandeye, the decision to separate followed a confession by his wife regarding her motives behind a series of aggressive acts.
He alleged that she targeted him with sharp objects, locked him out of her family home in Ukparibu, Bekwarra Local Government Area, Cross River and dragged him to court under false pretenses.
In his public statement, Undiandeye wrote that his wife confessed to being recruited into an occultic coven by members of his extended family who opposed his personal progress and sought to harm him.
He noted that despite the death of the group’s leader, she continued the alleged attacks due to her close access to him.
Church proceedings and political plans
Undiandeye stated that he is initiating formal separation proceedings through his church hierarchy, scheduling an official meeting with the newly elected Obudu District Superintendent, Rev. Emmanuel Achu, and members of the presbytery to finalize the ecclesiastical divorce process.
Despite the painful breakdown of the union, which produced children, Undiandeye emphasized that he published the statement to clarify his marital status to the public rather than to spark social media debate.
He noted that establishing his single status is necessary to protect his personal safety and allow him to focus on his future endavors and political ambitions ahead of the 2027 political season.
