A Nigerian woman, Tina Iengem Tindi, created a stir online after publicly calling out a bride, Aondo Kadoon Rita, on her wedding day.
Tina accused Rita of illegally marrying her legally wedded husband.
The traditional wedding ceremony between Rita and the groom took place on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
However, the event was quickly overshadowed by Tina’s public confrontation on social media. In a now-deleted post addressed directly to the bride, Tina warned her about the groom’s marital status.
“Hello Aondo Kadoon Rita. The man you marrying traditionally today is a married man, my husband,” Tina wrote.
Social media activity highlights previous marriage history
The revelation has drawn significant attention across various social platforms, with users digging into the background of the relationship.
Digital records show that Tina previously celebrated her wedding anniversary publicly on November 11, 2024, posting affectionate messages about her marriage to the same man now tied to Rita.
While Tina subsequently took down the callout post, screenshots had already circulated widely across internet forums, triggering heated debates regarding bigamy, relationship transparency, and traditional marriage practices in Nigeria. Neither the bride, Rita, nor the groom has issued a public response regarding the allegations.
