P-Square rift: Peter Okoye, again knocks his brothers
Accuses Paul, Jude of betrayal
In his latest tell-all video addressing the deep-seated grievances behind the ongoing P-Square feud, singer Peter Okoye (Mr P) has refuted long-standing rumours that his late mother disapproved of his marriage to Lola Omotayo-Okoye.
Addressing the narrative directly, Peter revealed that his mother held Lola in high esteem and affectionately called her “our wife.”
He added that Lola was present right by her bedside during her final days in a Lagos hospital, demonstrating the close bond they shared.
Broken promises and wedding boycotts
Peter also turned his attention to his twin brother, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), expressing disappointment over a broken childhood pact regarding their sons’ names.
The brothers had agreed to name their firstborn sons after each other’s Igbo names. Peter fulfilled his side by naming his son Nonso (Paul’s Igbo name), but alleged that Paul reneged by failing to name his first son Obuneme (Peter’s Igbo name).
Targeting their older brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, Peter claimed Jude boycotted his wedding and actively tried to disrupt it by booking a P-Square performance in Ghana a day before the event.
On the wedding day itself, Jude posted studio photos with Don Jazzy and D’banj instead of attending.
Peter admitted he retaliated by skipping Jude’s wedding and posting pictures of himself relaxing at home.
When Paul demanded that Peter show respect to Jude as their elder brother, Peter countered that Lola is older than Jude and deserved equal respect—a statement he says deeply angered both siblings.
Peter stated that this video marks the conclusion of his personal background series, noting he will next address Jude’s recent public denial regarding ongoing financial fraud allegations within the family’s business dealings.
