In the emotional climax of his multi-part video series, Nigerian pop star Peter Okoye (Mr P) laid bare the painful personal encounters that shattered the P-Square dynasty, recounting the moment his elder brother Jude Okoye allegedly insulted his son.

Peter revealed that during one of their most heated confrontations, Jude referred to his firstborn child, Cameron, as a “bastard”—an insult Peter described as an unforgivable line crossed within the family.

According to the singer, the severe disrespect directed at his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye, and his children ultimately destroyed any remaining desire to compromise for the sake of the music group.

He recalled how their mother arrived in the duplex he shared with Paul and Jude at Omole Estate, Lagos, some years ago and asked him to summon his then girlfriend, Lola.

Peter recalled trying to find out why she needed to speak with her, but she did not disclose.

He said the mother told him to instruct Lola not to bring their baby with her when coming.

Peter recalled that Lola was summoned into a meeting where all the family members were present and told to leave their family and never come back.

He further recalled how his mother later told him he had prayed about the situation and could confirm that Cameron was his blood.

Peter claimed that their mother told him his siblings would apologise to him individually.

He claimed all his other siblings apologised to him but Paul and Jude refused to.

Late mother’s blessing and allegations of wedding sabotage

Addressing persistent rumors that his mother disowned his marriage, Peter firmly set the record straight. He revealed that his late mother loved Lola dearly, referred to her affectionately as “our wife,” and that Lola remained steadfastly at her hospital bedside in Lagos until her passing.

Peter also highlighted what he called systematic betrayal by his brothers around major life milestones:

Peter recalled a childhood promise made with his twin brother, Paul (Rudeboy), to name their first sons after each other’s Igbo names. While Peter honored the agreement by naming his son Nonso (Paul’s Igbo name), Paul broke the pact by refusing to name his own firstborn Obuneme (Peter’s Igbo name).

Peter accused Jude of attempting to sabotage his wedding by deliberately booking a P-Square concert in Ghana on the eve of the event and posting studio photos online during the ceremony instead of attending. Peter admitted he retaliated by boycotting Jude’s own wedding later on.

When Paul demanded that Peter show deference to Jude as the elder brother, Peter argued that Lola was older than Jude and deserved equal respect—a stance that further escalated hostility among the trio.

Concluding his personal narrative, Peter stated that while this installment completes his background account, he intends to release further evidence addressing the ongoing financial and corporate disputes surrounding the P-Square brand.
