Kannywood Star Adam Zango faces backlash over 6th divorce due to AS genotype issue

Popular TikToker Al-Amin G-Fresh and his wife have publicly criticised veteran Kannywood actor and filmmaker Adam Zango following his revelation that his sixth marriage collapsed due to genotype incompatibility.
Zango recently sparked widespread online discussion after uploading a video showing his now ex-wife departing his residence.
In the video, the actor stated that the separation was mutual and peaceful, explaining that both parties discovered they were both AS genotype only after their wedding ceremony. He urged followers and media outlets to refrain from spreading false narratives regarding the breakup.
“You should have kept quiet” — G-Fresh weighs in
Reacting to the actor’s statement, G-Fresh and his partner slammed the explanation, labelling the oversight as avoidable and careless.
The couple pointed out that medical testing—specifically genotype compatibility—is a mandatory requirement in modern premarital screening.
According to G-Fresh, failing to carry out a standard health assessment before tying the knot exposed the actor to public ridicule.
“You shouldn’t be so uninformed as to conduct only an HIV test without getting a comprehensive medical checkup, including a genotype test, before marriage,” G-Fresh stated.
The social media personality emphasised that the personal dispute should have remained private rather than being broadcast across digital platforms.
“You owed no one an explanation; you should have kept quiet,” the couple added, noting that if G-Fresh were to marry again, a comprehensive medical exam would be an absolute prerequisite before committing.
Adam Zango’s marital history: What the records show
Despite online speculation and rumours suggesting the actor has been married up to seven times, verified media reports and public records confirm that Adam Zango has been officially married six times since 2006, with all six marriages ending in divorce.
The Kannywood entertainer is a father to seven children—six sons and one daughter—from his previous unions.
