A student of Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Saapade (GAPOSA), known on social media as Adunni Spa, has taken to digital platforms claiming she was abducted by unknown assailants, stripped naked, recorded on video, and subjected to extortion and blackmail.
In her online posts, the student alleged that her captors filmed explicit footage (“nudes”) without her consent during the ordeal and are currently using the recorded media to intimidate and blackmail her following her release.
The school authorities and the police are yet to comment on the veracity of the claim. However, the lady appears distressed and broke down in tears towards the end of the video after promising not to cry.
She claimed the experience was traumatic and had given her sleepless nights.
The harrowing claim comes amidst heightened anxiety in the institution’s host communities following a recent armed invasion of an off-campus student hostel in Ipara-Remo.
Social media allegations and blackmail claims
According to posts circulating across social media platforms, the student detailed a distressing sequence of events:
She alleged that she was forcefully seized and taken to an undisclosed location.
During the incident, her assailants reportedly stripped her and recorded explicit videos.
She claimed her abductors released her but subsequently initiated blackmail demands, threatening to circulate the private footage online unless certain conditions were met.
Security breakdown at off-campus hostels
The viral claim coincides with the recent attack on a private student residence located along Paraga Road in Ipara-Remo. During that incident, armed bandits operated for nearly 30 minutes, firing shots and abducting several occupants, which prompted school authorities to temporarily suspend ongoing examinations.
