Principal, Mrs Alamu, pleads for help

A new set of disturbing videos has surfaced showing Mrs Alamu, the principal of Community High School, Esiele, in Oyo State, pleading for urgent intervention from authorities after she and several students were abducted during an armed attack.

The incident reportedly occurred in Oriire Local Government Area during a coordinated assault on schools in the area.

In the footage, the visibly distressed school administrator said the abductees had been held since the attack and were living under harsh conditions in captivity.

The principal said both the teachers and the pupils had been sleeping in the open in the harsh and rainy weather.

She disclosed that another person had been picked among them to be killed if the authorities failed to respond.

Mrs Alamu gave the date as 27th of May in one of the clips. In the clip, a cloth was put behind her, apparently to hide their surroundings and make it difficult for security operatives to locate.

In the second clip, no attempt was made to hide the background as the principal was filmed pleading for her life and the lives of the other abductors.

The nuzzle of a gun can be seen in the foreground, as Mrs Alamu tearfully begged for intervention.

She warned that force should not be applied because the last attempt led them into more hardship.
