Nigerian music star Burna Boy has come under criticism online after a viral video showed one of his security personnel allegedly using his leg to push a physically challenged man out of the way while escorting the singer into a nightclub.
The incident reportedly occurred during an Eid celebration outing in Lagos and has since sparked heated reactions across social media platforms.
In the now-trending clip, Burna Boy was seen walking toward the entrance of a club surrounded by members of his entourage and security team.
As the singer approached the entrance, a disabled man appeared to move close to the pathway, seemingly trying to get his attention.
Moments later, one of Burna Boy’s bouncers was seen forcefully clearing the man from the path, an action many viewers described as harsh and disrespectful.
Several social media users condemned the manner in which the physically challenged man was treated, with some accusing the security team of excessive aggression.
Others, however, argued that the security personnel may have been attempting to control the crowd and secure a safe passage for the Grammy-winning artiste.
The video has continued to generate mixed reactions online, with many calling for celebrities and their teams to show more compassion when dealing with fans and members of the public.
