“Pity my soul” – Singer Chike reacts to online backlash over alleged link to Frank Edoho’s ex-wife
Nigerian singer Chike has sparked fresh reactions online after posting a brief but emotional message amid ongoing social media controversy linking him to the former wife of media personality Frank Edoho.
The singer, who has recently faced intense criticism and speculation across social platforms, took to X (formerly Twitter) with a short post that read: “Pity my soul!”
Although he did not provide any context or clarification, the message immediately triggered renewed discussions about the rumour linking him to Frank Edoho’s ex-wife, Sandra Edoho.
The controversy has been trending for days, with social media users divided over the allegations and the public reaction surrounding the individuals involved. Chiké’s cryptic post was widely interpreted by users as a response to the mounting backlash.
Following the post, some users criticised the singer sharply, with one X user accusing him of misconduct and referencing the alleged relationship, while urging him to apologise publicly to Frank Edoho and seek forgiveness.
The X user, known as Heritage Wife on the app, criticised Chike for continuing to have a relationship with Edoho’s wife even after he came to him to ask him to stop.
She wrote: “Better carry a male goat and go and prostrate before Frank. Take your father with you, and if possible, all your village people. No be small sin you commit”.
The post continued: “Ask him to forgive you and desist from having gen!tal meet and greet with Sandra.”
