“My daughter is not on drugs” — BBNaija star Ilebaye’s mother responds to allegations

Ms. Lami, the mother of reality TV star and Big Brother Naija All Stars winner Ilebaye Odiniya, has strongly denied allegations that her daughter uses drugs or influenced her younger brothers negatively.
Her response comes after a viral voice recording in which Ilebaye’s father, Emmanuel Odiniya, accused the reality star of introducing her brother to drugs, a situation he claimed contributed to the boy’s expulsion from school.
In the recording, he also made additional personal claims about family disagreements and tensions within the household.
Speaking in an emotional reaction during a chat with LIB, Ms. Lami described the allegations as false and damaging, insisting they were part of an attempt to tarnish her daughter’s image.
She also alleged that the situation reflects a long-standing pattern of emotional abuse within the family, stating that both she and her daughter have endured distress over time.
According to her, recent videos showing Ilebaye with injuries following an alleged altercation at her father’s residence have further complicated the family dispute, which has now become public.
Ms. Lami maintained firmly that her daughter “is not on drugs” and rejected claims linking Ilebaye to substance abuse or influencing her siblings in that direction.
She added that while the situation has been deeply traumatic, she remains focused on supporting her daughter through what she described as a difficult period.
