A California woman has filed a lawsuit against a man she accused of secretly recording a private video during an online interaction and later sending the footage to her daughter without her consent.
According to court documents, the woman, identified as Crystal Merrill, claimed she was engaged in a private video conversation with Frank Harris through Facebook Messenger in 2022 when he allegedly recorded her without her knowledge.
Merril stripped to her birthday suit and proceeded to entertain Harris by pleasuring herself. She said she had believed the session to be strictly between the two of them and had no idea Harris was recording it.
The lawsuit alleged that Harris later embarrassed her by sharing the video with her daughter through text messages and email in 2023.
Crystal also accused him of threatening to post the footage on several social media and adult-content platforms, including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
She maintained that she never gave consent to be recorded or for the footage to be distributed.
The woman is now seeking at least $150,000 in damages alongside other legal relief.
It remains unclear whether the video was ever uploaded online.
