Adesola Akeem, the husband of popular social media personality Eniola Fagbemi, widely known as Sisi Alagbo, has publicly apologised following the circulation of a controversial video involving himself, his wife, and another woman.
The video, which surfaced earlier this week, quickly spread across messaging platforms, social media, and various online blogs, sparking widespread reactions.
In a statement shared on his Facebook page on Thursday, Akeem expressed remorse over the incident and accepted full responsibility for his actions.
He acknowledged the embarrassment and disappointment the situation had caused to those around him.
“I write with a deep sense of responsibility and sincere remorse to extend my heartfelt apologies to my family, friends, business associates, religious leaders, fans, loved ones, and the entire Nigerian public,” he said.
He admitted that his behaviour fell short of expectations and apologised directly to his supporters and associates for letting them down. Akeem also described the incident as a period of personal reflection, adding that he is committed to making better decisions and rebuilding trust going forward.
Earlier, Sisi Alagbo also addressed the situation in a post on her verified Facebook account, where she apologised for her role and expressed emotional distress since the video emerged.
“I own my mistakes, and I apologise with all sincerity for the video circulating online. I am deeply sorry to everyone who felt disappointed in me,” she wrote.
Fagbemi gained popularity online through promoting herbal products and became widely known after a viral moment involving her greeting Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
