
Operatives of the Ondo State Police Command have arrested a 28-year-old man, Femi Agbeye, for allegedly killing his five-year-old daughter and two of his female siblings in the Okitipupa area of the state.
The tragic incident reportedly occurred on April 8 at the Agbeye family residence located on Doctor’s Road.
Sources said the suspect allegedly forced his way into the compound before carrying out the attack.
The suspect’s father, Ade Agbeye, who confirmed the development, disclosed that his son had a history of substance abuse and had previously issued threats to family members.
He stated that the situation took a deadly turn on the day of the incident, adding that the victims were discovered lifeless in one of the rooms.
Ade also alleged that the suspect had been arrested in the past but was later released despite concerns raised by the family.
Residents in the area reportedly corroborated that the suspect was seen entering the premises forcefully before the incident.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the state police command confirmed the case, noting that investigations were ongoing to unravel the circumstances surrounding the killings.
