Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has stirred reactions on social media following a viral video in which he cautioned Nigerians about the implications of the rising cost of living on family decisions.
In the video circulating online, the actor highlighted the increasing prices of basic necessities, including diapers, school fees, fuel, and other household items, warning that failure to plan properly could lead to hardship.
“Pampers price dey increase. School fees dey increase. Fuel price dey increase. Prices of commodities dey increase. You no guide, you no get money, and you dey release, continue, you go cry more than that baby,” he said.
Agu’s remarks have since generated mixed reactions among Nigerians, with many taking to social media to express differing views.
