A shocking video circulating online has shown female students at Seat of Wisdom Secondary School in Aliade, Benue State, allegedly stripping and sexually harassing a fellow female student on the school premises.

The footage has triggered widespread condemnation on social media, with many users demanding urgent action from relevant authorities.

Posts have called on the Benue State Government, Benue State Police Command, and the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) to thoroughly investigate the incident and hold the perpetrators accountable.

The identity of the victim has not been revealed. According to online reports, the incident was reportedly recorded by those involved, heightening public concern over the severity of the situation.

Social media users were quick to react. One user, Olajide, expressed alarm over the situation, stating, “The decay in our society is so bad that it won’t be surprising that so many of these abnormalities are quite common in schools.

Firstly, it was boys bullying their schoolmates, and now this. All agencies involved should immediately start intelligence gathering on schools.”

Other users pointed to parental responsibility. Just Blaze wrote, “These are products of bad parenting. If it were my child, I would make sure those responsible face the law.”

Henry Adeyinka urged swift government intervention, emphasising, “The authorities must act immediately. Justice must be served.”

The incident has reignited debates on student safety, discipline, and supervision in schools, with many Nigerians advocating for stricter policies to protect pupils.

As of this report, no official statement has been released by the authorities, and it remains unclear whether any arrests have been made.
