Renowned Hollywood action star Chuck Norris has died at the age of 86, marking the end of an era for fans of martial arts and action cinema.

His family announced his death in a statement released on March 20, revealing that he passed away peacefully the previous morning while surrounded by loved ones.
They described the loss as deeply painful, emphasising that he was in a calm and comforting environment at the time of his passing.
A celebrated career
Norris, who had just marked his 86th birthday on March 10, rose to prominence in the 1980s through a string of martial arts–driven films, including A Force of One and An Eye for an Eye.
He later became a household name for his role as Cordell Walker in the hit television series Walker, Texas Ranger, which cemented his legacy as a cultural icon.
Family and legacy
The actor is survived by his wife, Gena O’Kelley, and his children — Dakota and Danilee, as well as Dina, Eric, and Mike from previous relationships.
Norris leaves behind a lasting legacy in film, television, and martial arts, with a career that spanned decades and influenced generations of action stars.
