Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence has confirmed that multiple United States military aircraft were involved in crashes within the country on Monday.

The announcement was reported by the Kuwait News Agency in a post on X, citing an official statement from the ministry.

According to the statement, all crew members on board the affected aircraft survived. Kuwaiti authorities are said to be supporting rescue and emergency response efforts following the incidents.

“Ministry of Defence announces that several #US military aircraft crashed earlier in the day, confirming that all crew members survived the incident,” the post read.

Officials did not immediately disclose the number of aircraft involved or provide details regarding the cause of the crashes.

The development follows heightened tensions in the region.

Reports indicate that Iran carried out strikes on a US military base in Kuwait a day earlier, describing the action as retaliation for joint air operations by the United States and Israel targeting Iranian positions.

In addition to Kuwait, countries including Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia were also reported to have experienced Iranian missile activity directed at US bases and related facilities in the region.
