A young woman has narrated how she was humiliated by a fellow Nigerian while walking on the street in South Africa.
Taking to social media, she narrated that the incident happened when the man pulled up in his car, lowered the window, and asked for her name.
After she introduced herself, she claimed he told her he does not date Nigerian women and then drove away.
According to her, the exchange occurred in front of a South African woman, who she said did not know whether to laugh or frown.
The moment, she explained, left her feeling embarrassed.
She added that the presence and reaction of the South African lady intensified the awkwardness of the situation.
The story has since generated mixed reactions online, with users debating dating preferences, public rejection, and identity perceptions among Nigerians living abroad.
