A young woman identified as Bola has reportedly taken her own life in the Ogba area of Lagos, leaving residents, colleagues, and loved ones in deep shock and mourning.

The tragic incident has drawn widespread grief, particularly among the staff of Wado Credit & Co, where she was said to be employed.

Colleagues described her as hardworking, quiet, and dedicated to her job, making the news of her death especially difficult to comprehend.

According to sources, Bola had been facing significant personal and financial pressures in recent times, though many around her were unaware of the extent of her struggles.

Those close to her said she rarely spoke about her challenges and appeared to be coping on the surface.

Reports indicate that a handwritten message was found after her death, suggesting she had been overwhelmed by emotional distress and anxiety about the future.

The note reportedly reflected feelings of exhaustion, disappointment, and self-blame, pointing to a battle she may have been fighting privately.

The incident has reignited conversations around mental health, workplace stress, and the importance of emotional support, especially during difficult economic times.

Many community members have expressed sadness that help did not reach her sooner.

As news of the tragedy continues to spread, friends and sympathisers have taken to social media to pay tribute, urging greater compassion and awareness around mental health challenges.
