He lured me with a modelling job and raped me and my friend- Lagos woman (Videos)

A Lagos-based content creator and thrift vendor, known online as Fems Thrift, has alleged that she and a friend were raped after responding to what they believed was a legitimate modelling opportunity.

In a video shared on TikTok, she recounted that the incident occurred on Sunday, February 8, in the Ajao Estate area of Lagos State.

According to her account, she was initially contacted on Instagram by a man who claimed he had recently returned from the United Kingdom to launch a fashion brand in Nigeria. 

She said he offered her ₦140,000 for a modelling assignment and requested additional promotion across her social media platforms. The message exchange reportedly began on February 1.

She stated that she agreed to the job after being assured that the shoot would involve a full production setup, including a make-up artist. As a precaution, she asked a friend to accompany her to the location.

Upon arrival at the apartment around 11 a.m., she said the premises appeared largely empty. The man allegedly explained that the make-up artist had stepped out briefly. She further claimed he asked her to freshen up before the shoot and provided a robe to change into.

What followed, she alleged, turned into a violent ordeal. She claimed the suspect locked the door, threatened both women with a weapon and restrained them before assaulting them. 

She also alleged that their phones were confiscated and that they were coerced into unlocking private files, with threats that personal content would be released if they reported the incident.

The women reportedly left the location hours later.

The content creator has called for the suspect to be identified and arrested, urging others seeking job opportunities to exercise caution. 

As of the time of this report, there has been no official statement from the police regarding the allegation.
