Social media activist, Bukky Jesse, has claimed that a fan of the late diminutive Nollywood actress, Aunty Ajara, impregnated her.
Jesse made the claim in a video that has now gone viral, reigniting discussions around the death of the Nollywood actress.
The actress, whose real name was Ajara Lasisi, passed away on February 5, 2026, after reportedly battling liver-related complications while pregnant.
Her death triggered widespread mourning across social media, particularly among fans of Yoruba-language films, where she built a strong following.
In a video currently circulating on TikTok, Jesse alleged that Aunty Ajara was impregnated by a 17-year-old boy.
According to the woman, the teenager reportedly referred to the actress as “aunty,” a claim that has intensified public outrage and speculation.
Jesse claimed that it was not a case of the teenager taking advantage of the late actress. On the other hand, she claimed it was Aunty Ajara who brought the boy closer to her, among the young fans who flocked around her.
She further alleged that the pregnancy involved twins and that this might have worsened the medical complications that led to the actress’s death.
There is no official confirmation or denial from the actress’s family or relevant authorities. As of the time of filing this report, the family has remained silent on the allegation.
Aunty Ajara was buried the same day her death was announced, in accordance with Islamic customs.
The funeral was attended by close relatives, friends, and a small circle of colleagues from the film industry. Emotional scenes from the burial were widely shared online, with her brother, Ridwan Lasisi, publicly confirming her passing.
Born on July 13, 1992, in Ogun State, Aunty Ajara was widely admired for her comedic talent and distinctive screen presence.
Despite living with dwarfism, she carved out a successful career in Yoruba Nollywood and became a beloved figure both on-screen and online.
