Social media users have unearthed the uncomplimentary past of a woman, Chika Sandra Chichi, who recently went online to complain about still being single at the age of 40, despite her dream of being married and done with childbearing by age 28.

Sandra had taken to X to share her disappointment over how her life turned out.

She revealed that while growing up, she had hoped to be married and finished with childbearing by the age of 28.

However, she lamented that at 40, not only had her plans failed to materialise, but she also lacked a stable relationship that could lead to marriage anytime soon.

Sandra admitted that some of her past decisions may have contributed to her current situation, adding that if she could turn back the hands of time, she would make different choices. She did not, however, give specific details about those mistakes.

Her comments prompted netizens to search through her old social media activity, where they claimed to find posts suggesting a reckless lifestyle in her younger years.

One resurfaced Facebook post allegedly showed Sandra lying on a bed wearing only underwear, alongside a caption in which she narrated how she followed a man to a hotel, only to wake up the next morning to discover he had disappeared with her phone and a bag containing ₦3,000.

She reportedly added that she was forced to trek home because she had no money left for transportation.

Reacting to the resurfaced content, an X user identified as King Chidi argued that Sandra’s story reflected what he described as a pattern among some women who now complain about being single later in life after living carelessly in their youth.

The online debate has continued to trend, with users divided between those blaming her past choices and others urging compassion, noting that personal growth and second chances remain possible regardless of age.
