Motunrayo Kuti, daughter of legendary Afrobeat icon Fela Anikulapo Kuti, has weighed in on the escalating online clash between her brother, Seun Kuti, and Nigerian music superstar Wizkid, firing back after the singer claimed he was “bigger” than her late father.
Her reaction, delivered in a fiery video now trending on social media, has further inflamed an already tense debate among fans of both camps.

The controversy began after Wizkid, during a social media exchange with Seun Kuti, declared: “I big pass your papa.”
The statement, widely interpreted as a direct comparison between himself and Fela Kuti, quickly went viral and sparked backlash.
The exchange is believed to be linked to a dispute over the nickname “Big Bird,” which Seun Kuti uses online—similar to Wizkid’s long-standing alias.
