Former Nickelodeon child star Kianna Underwood has been identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred in Brooklyn, New York, in the early hours of Friday morning.

Law enforcement sources confirmed that the 33-year-old actress, who appeared on the popular Nickelodeon sketch comedy series “All That” in 2005, was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road at the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard.

According to police and reports cited by TMZ, Underwood was hit by a gray-colored vehicle driven by an unidentified suspect.

The impact reportedly caused her to fall beneath the vehicle, which continued moving for a short distance before fleeing the scene.

Witnesses told authorities that Underwood was left lying motionless on the roadway after the driver failed to stop.

Emergency services were alerted when the New York Police Department (NYPD) received a 911 call at approximately 6:49 a.m.

First responders arrived shortly afterwards, but Underwood was pronounced dead at the scene.

Law enforcement sources said the actress sustained severe injuries to her head and torso as a result of the collision. As of the time of filing this report, no arrests have been made, and police say the driver remains at large.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from the area and appealing to the public for information that could help identify the vehicle and the suspect involved.

Underwood rose to fame as a child performer on Nickelodeon, appearing on “All That” and later on the animated children’s series “Little Bill.”

After stepping away from television, she lived a more private life outside the entertainment industry.

Tributes have begun to pour in on social media, with fans expressing shock and mourning the loss of the former child star. Authorities urge anyone with information related to the incident to contact the NYPD.
