Actor Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter found dead in California Hotel on New Year’s Day

Victoria Jones, the daughter of acclaimed Hollywood actor Tommy Lee Jones, has been found dead at a luxury hotel in San Francisco, California, on New Year’s Day. She was 34 years old.
According to law enforcement authorities, police officers responded to a report of a medical emergency at the Fairmont San Francisco Hotel in the early hours of Thursday, January 1, at approximately 3:14 a.m.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly afterwards, but the woman was pronounced dead upon their arrival.
The San Francisco Fire Department confirmed that bystanders at the hotel were instructed to begin cardiopulmonary resuscitation before paramedics reached the scene.
Despite these efforts, the victim could not be revived. She was later identified by media sources as Victoria Jones.
The San Francisco Police Department stated that no foul play is immediately suspected, although the case remains under investigation.
The city’s Medical Examiner’s Office has taken over the matter and will determine the official cause of death following further examination and toxicology tests.
Victoria Jones was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his first wife, Kimberlea Cloughley.
Though largely private in her adult life, she had early exposure to the entertainment industry and appeared in several acting roles during her younger years.
She notably featured alongside her father in the blockbuster film “Men in Black II.” She also had appearances in the television series “One Tree Hill” and the 2005 film “The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada,” which was both directed by and starred her father.
In recent months, Jones had reportedly faced legal challenges. Court records indicate she was arrested multiple times in 2025 in California on charges including obstruction of a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance, and, later, domestic-related allegations.
She entered not-guilty pleas in the Napa County cases and was released on bail in connection with the later charges.
News of her death has generated widespread reactions online, with fans and observers expressing condolences to the Jones family while urging respect for their privacy during a difficult period.
Tommy Lee Jones, a two-time Academy Award winner known for films such as “The Fugitive,” “No Country for Old Men,” and “Men in Black,” has not yet made a public statement regarding the loss.
Authorities say updates will be provided once the medical examiner’s investigation is complete.
