A male nursing student from Tamale, Ghana, who was caught in a viral bedroom video with a married female colleague, has explained that they both fell asleep after intimacy, which led to the husband catching them red-handed.
Speaking during interrogation by community members, the student explained that Ramlatu, his married classmate, invited him to her home under the pretext of helping with an assignment.
He claimed he assisted with the assignment before they decided to enjoy some intimate sessions with each other.
The nursing student claimed that before the encounter, he had asked Ramlatu whether her husband would be home early. She reportedly assured him she had already confirmed he would be delayed as usual.
“In the middle of everything, after we had spent hours together, we fell asleep. That’s when her husband arrived and caught us red-handed,” the young man said in Twi.
He suggested that it was their exhaustion after the prolonged intimacy that led to the shocking discovery, which has since gone viral online.
The husband of Ramlatu has also spoken publicly to community elders, describing the moment he returned home early due to lingering suspicions.
According to him, he became suspicious that something might be happening at home after a series of phone calls and unusual behaviour from his wife.
The wife had called him to inquire if he planned to stay late at work as usual or if he intended to come home early.
After he told her he would be staying late, the wife placed a call to her husband’s friend to make enquiries about her husband’s itinerary yet again.
It is possible that the friend informed the husband that his wife called to make enquiries, arousing the suspicion of the man.
The husband then decided to pay a surprise visit to his home, where he found his wife and the strange youngman locked up in their bedroom.
