“I gave him 4 sons in 9 years!” – Ada Igbo breaks silence on allegation of starving hubby of sex, food

The social media storm surrounding Ada Igbo and her estranged husband, Chinedu, has taken a sharp turn as Ada officially fires back at “propaganda” suggesting she drove her husband into the arms of their house help.
In a scathing rebuttal posted to her Facebook page, Ada addressed rumours that she denied her husband intimacy and failed in her domestic duties, leading him to impregnate their Kaduna-born maid.
“Is It by Magic?” Ada Igbo asks
Responding to the narrative of sexual starvation, Ada pointed to the reality of her household: four sons born within just nine years of marriage.
“I denied him sex and I dey carry belle every eke market day?” Ada questioned sarcastically. “Even with my constant family planning, I have four boys under nine years of marriage. Na by magic?”
She emphasized that her frequent pregnancies are biological proof that the “denial” narrative is a fabricated attempt to shield her husband’s infidelity.
The culinary defence
Ada also dismantled claims that she neglected her husband’s meals. She challenged the logic that a traditional Igbo man with a “sensitive stomach” would suddenly prefer the cooking of a maid from Kaduna over the authentic Igbo delicacies he was accustomed to.
“You are trying to tell me that a full-blown Igbo man would consistently eat food cooked by a Kaduna girl?” she asked.
She clarified that while the maid might microwave or warm up meals, the soups—ranging from Ofe Akwu (Banga) to Ofe Nsala (White soup)—were prepared by her own hands.
“I was the one who dished out his meals and served him. That was always how it was,” she stated, listing complex traditional dishes like Ukwa and Isiewu that she prepared, doubting the maid’s ability to replicate the specific tastes her husband demanded.
“The Truth Stands Alone”
Ada, a long-time content creator, reminded her followers that her life has been an “open book” documented online for years.
She dismissed the new allegations as a smear campaign orchestrated to distract from the betrayal that occurred while she was in the labour room.
“The truth does not change just because people are uncomfortable with it,” she concluded.
She also said her husband actively took part in their relocation to Canada and was the main applicant because he had better qualifications and scored higher in the language tests they took.
Ada Igbo also said that her husband, Chinedu and his family only tried to backtrack from the Canada dream after she learnt of his betrayal with their maid.
She said Chinedu’s family wanted her to forgive him and send the maid away after aborting her baby, but she declined.
